Match report First outing of the season and a defeat for the 2nd XI, it started well bowling Harwich out for 158, thanks to some excellent bowling from Keith Steel 2-23 off 13, Jens Wair at the death and Tony Lee in particular who picked up five wickets in a career best 5 -52 off 12 overs. The ground fielding was very good with all players supporting the bowlers efforts, Ed also kept wicket well. In reply we started well and 64 was put on for the first wicket, after that we were pegged back by the bowling of Harman who took five wickets in the latter part of innings, Tom Lee batted very well for 41, but we left ourselves a bit too much to do in the last few overs. A disappointing result, but great performances from father and son Lee.
