Match report The rain was the winner in this game.

Kelvedon won the toss and batted first. Thanks to an excellent 62 from P. Tomkins they posted an excellent 167-4 off their allotted 24 overs. The Green line-up looked a little light of bowlers and Captain Polley turned to an inexperienced quartet of O. Licence, J. Plummer, Tom Lee and Thanuja Gunaratna. They all stepped up superbly and were ably assisted by an energised effort in the field.

EAG were 44-3 off 11 overs when the rain came and play ended early. With S. Collins looking in good form and plenty of batting to come this could have been an exciting finish. However, on this occasion, we will never know.
