Match report This was a comfortable win for the Green after Ardleigh made slow progress towards a total of only 141-6, held together by a dogged 50 from opener Lamont in 35 overs. All the bowlers bowled well, especially Ally Hammond who was unlucky not to take a wicket. In reply, the Green got off to a solid but purposeful start, with Tim Chambers (27) and Marsy (52) putting on over 60 for the first wicket. Ally Hammond then stroked his way to 37 not out. After brief cameos from Wayne and Josh, it was left to Danny to seal the win by plonking the ball over midwicket into the next field. Then it was back to the Heath to celebrate a rare weekend on which all three teams won. (TJC)
