Match report After a run of 3 defeats in a row, the Green got back to winning ways with dominant win at Battisford.

Batting first on a blisteringly hot day, the Green found themselves in a spot of bother at 28-3. However a masterful stand of 168 between Amila & Henry (promoted up the order) ensured the Green put a competitive total on the board. Amila's first century for the club included 17 4's & a 6. His season average currently stands at 88.8!! He was ably support by Henry, making the most of his chance up the order to record his first 50 for the 1st XI.

After his batting heroics, it was Amila who got the ball rolling in the field having Skinner caught behind by Skipper Rob. After a 50 run 2nd wicket stand, Calum opened the door for the Green clean bowling Holman for 38. Calum ended with terrific figures of 4-26 but was well supported by Ross, himself taking three. It was left to Henry to clean up the tail, taking his tally for the season to 15 wickets already.

A all round excellent display from the team taking the fully 20 points back to the Green. A special shoutout to Conner Amos, the latest 'academy' product to make his 1st XI debut!
