Match report We came up against a big hitting West Bergholt who were our nemesis last year beating us three times in the midweek league. Having lost the toss we were put into the field and runs flowed early. However, our fielding held firm and in the late overs of the innings EAG were rewarded with six wickets and a total to chase of 151. Far less than it had looked like being early on. Pick of our bowlers was Praveen Amarasinghe who took 3-22.

We fell behind the run rate early in our reply but then rallied to post a score of 118 in our 15 overs. Elliot Walker top scored with 34 and Ollie Stovell hit a 14 ball - 30.

A solid start from the midweek team. There is a lot more to come!
