Match report Captain Duncan Wyatt won the toss and decided to bat, as last year when umpiring he witnessed Sudbury score over 300. The Eight Ash Green total owed a lot to 61 year old Richard Polley who on Friday phoned looking for a match on the Sunday after not having a game at the weekend, but ended up playing both days and scoring a fifty on both occasions. Richard scored 80 out of a total of 140 all out from 39.3 overs.
The first ball of the innings bowled by Calum McDonald was gloved by Kenny Moulton-Day down the leg side, but wicket keeper Oliver Licence could not take the catch. In the next over when Kenny Moulton-Day was on 9 James Plummer dropped a skier that came down with snow from the last ball of Ethan Wyatt's over. That was as close as we came to taking a wicket as Kenny Moulton-Day proceeded to make hay and retired on 54 not out. Usama Ashfaq 42 not out and Jonathan Amos 32 not out continued to score freely and Sudbury won after only 16.1 overs.
