Match report A 36 over match was agreed, with Boxted winning the toss and electing to bat on a damp, but heavily rolled wicket after all the rain from Saturday afternoon and through the night.

Boxted batted steadily, but the blitz in the last over by Steve Sestak when he scored 30 of 32 runs scored lifted the total dramatically to 247-2 from 36 overs.

For Eight Ash Green Deepak Rajpal opened on his debut for the club with Calum McDonald. After Deepak Rajpal was dismissed Calum McDonald 57 runs and Duncan Wyatt 40 runs put on 94 for the 2nd wicket to keep Eight Ash Green in the hunt, but both were out in a short space of time of each other and Eight Ash Green fell short on 185-7 from 36 overs.
