Match report Eight Ash Green won the toss and elected to field. With the possibility of rain later we decided to play a 35 over match.
Eight Ash Green contained Maldon to 126-9 from 35 overs with only one player making any runs and that was Andy Phipps who scored 53 not out, but he did ride his luck by playing and missing on numerous occasions.
Eight Ash Green were going along very nicely when the rain started. We played on for a little while in the rain, but eventually had to come off with Eight Ash Green on 59-0 from 10 overs.
If Duckworth Lewis was in operation we would of won, but the match was abandoned.
