Match report Firstly many thanks to the parents from both teams who organised the drinks. Well done to Andrew Plummer & Oliver Edwards for scoring. Special mention of Simon Lovejoy for running the bar but huge thanks to Charlie Lovejoy & Elliot Cryne for sharing the umpiring & allowing me to watch the match.
We won the toss & elected to bat first, only William Spicer reaching double figures with a brilliant 31. We batted for 20 overs to post 107 for 9, extras top scoring with 52.
Gt Totham started slowly & were 18 for 3 in the 7th over. However Kinsella could not be shifted & scored a good 50 to win the match in the 19th over. Best Bowler was William Spicer with 2 for 13 off 4 overs. Special mention to Tom Bowles who took a blinder at point.
This was a vast improvement on the last meeting where we lost by 99 runs, scoring only 33 for 10.Well done to all players on a good solid performance.
