After a summer of cricket there’s still lots going on with indoor cricket and indoor training for all players young and old.  It’s great fun and we’re winning lots of games.  If you’d like to get involved go to our web site next week for a New Year activity update.  

The Green’s goal of being Carbon Net Zero by 2030 steps up another gear in January.  We’ve adapted our Carbon Calculator to include indoor fixtures and training and will be working with players and parents to measure, offset and reduce carbon emissions from these activities. 

The wider Carbon Champions project also gets up a gear too, with the involvement of other clubs in the North Essex Cricket League.  There will be lots going on with new Champions learning courses, and an exciting new rewards programme.

So lots of opportunities for you to play cricket, have fun and be right at the front of fighting climate change in 2023.   A Happy Christmas and Green New Year to you all!
