KWIK CRICKET FESTIVAL
THIS FRIDAY, 3 JULY!
What better way to and a hot and humid week than to pop up The Green this Friday and enjoy the club's annual Kwik Cricket festival? Matches start at 6pm and barbie and drinks are available all evening.
Come on down and see the club's future stars in action! (Pictured left, one KC team from 2005!).

Or go directly to the results for the unbeaten Under 13s ...!
U13 beat Elmstead Market by 6 wickets ...
U13 beat Deham by 8 wickets....
U13 bear Frinton by 3 wickets ...
SENIOR SUBS NOW OVERDUE
For those who haven't paid their subs yet you are unfortunately not alone. The subs are £35, all cheques made payable to Eight Ash Green Cricket Club. These can be handed to Sally, Tom or DJM. These are an important part of the clubs income for the year, so please do your best to pay as soon as possible.
Pavilion Hire
The George Porter pavilion is seeing a wide range of private functions this year including Weddings, Christenings, Reunions, Meetings and presentation nights, and is always looking to host more.
Please speak to Tom Lissimore if you wish to use the pavilion for any function.
U16 v Earls Colne
Good U16 practice tonight, despite Giorgio's attempt to wipe out Stephen with a beamer aimed at his throat. Liam's two wickets in two balls a highlight. I seem to have come home with fewer balls than I took - some probably still in the long grass where Luke deposited them. Team for Friday v. Earls Colne now confirmed (see fixtures section) - please let me know by phone or website if you can't play. Curtis to be standby in case someone drops out.
Tim
Academy XI beat Witham III by 7 wickets!
Half centuries for Ali Hammond and Tim Chambers, wickets for young and old and a remarkable 'mean' spell from Keith Steel. Details and report under 'Academy fixtures'

Youth Subs
As we are now in June all subscriptions should have been paid. Please bring cheques for £30 (payable to EAGCC) which covers membership and all training fees. Match fees are additional.
Youth Kit
All players are expected to have club shirt and cap when they play for the club. These are top quality and cost £15 KC & Youth, £18 Adult, £8 caps all sizes. Please add to cheque if need be and advise your manager of your order so he can collect and hand-over in time for your first game. All kit is at Club if you want to try on, or I will try to bring a selection to HH.
Quiz night - Thank You
I would like to thank everybody who turned out for the quiz night on Saturday, we raised nearly £600 which is fantastic for the first social event of the season. I hope everybody enjoyed themselves and nobody felt ill from the chilli!!
The next event is a race night on May 30th. Would be great to see the pavilion full again.
Many Thanks
Tom
