Match report On a lovely sunny day Captain Duncan Wyatt won the toss and elected to bat.

Henry Warner & Ethan Frost put together over a 50 run opening stand, with Henry scoring his first fifty and at this point as in with accordance of the T30 League rules he retired not out. This brought Felix Friedlein to the crease and we progressed nicely to 82 until we lost our first wicket. In the quest for quick runs we then lost a further 4 wickets before James Woodcock & Dev Agrawal had a handy 26 run unbeaten partnership.

When Wivenhoe started their innings Marcus Christensen batted with intent from the start which meant I had to adjust the field to control the flurry of runs early on. After Luke's first 2 overs he managed to get his line & length and we worked our way back into the match. We steadily kept taking wickets and bowled them out in the last over of their innings. Jack Axon bowled 5 overs for the first time ever and took career best 3 wickets for 17 runs and Ed Bradbury took his first ever wickets for the club.
