Colchester batted first & were always scoring at 10 runs per over, they finished on 205 for 3 from 20. Wickets were taken by Troy Collins, James Plummer & Thomas Woodnott, who was the best bowler for EAG. Good catches were taken by Troy Collins & Calum McDonald.To many wides & again loose bowling led to byes. EAG also dropped 4 very catch-able chances, taking these could have changed to game!
We did bat for 20 overs, finished with 42 for 8 but Calum McDonald scored 27 so not much from all the other batsmen. Fundamental mistakes that must be worked on or these type of scores will continue.Well batted Calum.
Colchester won by 163 runs. Not the ideal way to finish the season, but at least we must believe that things can only improve for 2016.
