EAGCC Update: Porky's Pirates set sail in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust!

03 Feb 2014

Ahoy there shipmates!

Pleased to announce that the latest misadventure for Porky and his Pirates (the erstwhile Sunday Stiffs) is to take part in the PARAS'10 event in May.

The bad news is that this involves running 10 miles across tough terrain with a 35lb pack on our backs.   The good news is that we're doing it to raise money for the Green's chosen charity - Teenage Cancer Trust.

At present the only club member doing this is er ... yours truly.  My two other shipmates have mutinied and set up their own crews so if anyone wants to join me (and a few rugby club mates) then get in touch.

If not then we want 100 people to go to our Just Giving page and sponsor us for a minimum of £10 to raise £1,000.  Or go and help hit our target of 100 'likes' on the all-new Porky's Pirates Facebook page is the very least you can do.

Many thanks.  Porky Parker
