Older members still shed a tear at the departure of Stuart Hammond, possibly the best batsman the club has ever fielded. His 266 n.o. at Abberton remains a club record by some margin. Our intrepid El Presidente' tracked him down to Bath where they enjoyed a beer or ten at the rugby and assorted local hostelries afterwards. He is pictured wearing the Jesters Hat which is the traditional attire of local peasants. The only disappointment was to learn of Stuart's fate: part time work as Bath's mascot.
