It is fantastic news that our beloved cricket club has recently achieved Clubmark Status, a well recognised format that should enable the club to both maintain and improve its current upward mobility. Mrs Penny Lovejoy (36 and from West Bergholt) who co-ordinated this fabulous effort, would like to point out that there were in fact six key members of the team, all of whom shared the enormous workload. They are (in no particular order) Peter O`Donnell, Barry and Helen Nunn, Tim Chambers, Richard Parker and Penny herself. We all at The Green say a huge thank you for all of your tireless effort. I would also urge any of the members out there that if they see any of these guys any where near PJs bar maybe they should get them a tipple of their choice to say a very big thank you indeed. Your work is certainly very much appreciated.
