Hello Members,

With another season fast approaching, I thought I would drop you all a quick email explaining the current activity within the Senior section. Unfortunately, last years Captains Cup Winner, and Captain of the successful Two Counties team Paul Johnson, is having to go under the knife in order to repair what he claims, is a damaged ankle, (I will let you draw your own conclusions)! and will miss the majority of the 2013 season whilst recovering. We do of course, wish him all the best, and look forward to drinks at PJ's bar. The great news is that EAGCC legend Ali Hammond is returning from New Zealand for no other reason than to take over the captaincy.....and get married.

With the club playing in the indoor cricket league this year, (There is still time to play if you haven't already)! we have reduced the number of Senior nets we will be running. We have booked the following dates, from 7-8pm at Holmwood House, March 24th and 31st and April 7th and 14th, we hope to see lots of you there. 

If you are a youth member considering playing some Senior cricket in 2013, and have not done so in the past, please get in touch with either myself, or your youth coach who will in turn speak to me about the options open to you. We are keen to see the youth members participating in senior cricket once ready to do so.

2013 is shaping up to be an exciting year with the club striving to achieve Clubmark status, the return of several old faces, and hopefully the arrival of some new ones, as well as the club looking to appoint a level 2 coach.
