GreenPiece Good News!

The signs are good for the start of senior cricket next month. Matches will probably be played under similar restrictions to last year – no changing rooms, no teas, social distancing etc. The position over youth cricket, training, the bar, spectators and car-sharing is not clear yet but should be soon.

We know that a lot of players will be keen to get back to the Green for a net/training. We're working on a plan for starting training under government guidelines. Details to follow.

Meanwhile we are expecting to announce our new kit packs from the fantastic supplier Shrey in the next week. We are delighted to announce that we will be subsiding the kit through sponsorship. We still have one sleeve sponsorship available at a cost of £500 for any company/individual wanting to raise their profile/support the club. All sponsorship income is put into lowering the cost of the kit for players. Please contact Sam on samandloz@btinternet.com to get involved.

Finally the first senior men’s game is at home on April 17th so we will plan a pavilion clean-up date once lockdown is partly lifted on March 29th. Watch this space! Don’t forget that you can put your availability on the website NOW!

Best wishes
