For the fourth year in succession the Cricket Club hosted an afternoon tea for the Eight Ash Green Friendship Club, 28 members enjoyed the afternoon at the ground with the club's annual match against Essex Police Veterans as the backdrop. 

The letter we have received today indicates how much they enjoyed the event. 

Many thanks to Carol and Sue who provided sandwiches and cakes and were on hand to ensure the afternoon  went smoothly and guests were kept well supplied with teas and coffees. Thanks also to Janet (from the Purser family) who kindly supplied sponges and cakes.
