Older members will be saddened to learn that Brian Bailey has died recently.  Brian was an all-rounder who played at The Green in the seventies and as a Colchester Postie was often seen about town always with a smile and a cheery wave.

He is pictured below in 1977 in the team that played our first ever game in the Greene King League.  Brian is seated between DJM and Paul Hart who later starred in Spinal Tap the movie.
