The Green welcomed back Paul Marston on Saturday after a two year absence following a health scare. Having eased back in with a gentle spell of fielding, he opened the Green's reply against West Bergholt, after playing himself in, he soon found his timing and proceeded to deal mainly in boundaries reaching 50 before he was caught in deep for 59, having put on 100 with Neil Brinded, it was just like the 1980's revisited! The Green went on to win by 8 wickets. 

It was great to see Paul back, playing cricket after enduring a frustrating couple of years out of game, we look forward to some more hard hitting innings during the coming season.
