Just after the celebrations for Alex Hammond's debut century for the green last week finished, another club compatriot scored an astonishing 151 against Div 1 side Wivenhoe on Sunday!
We are of course talking about Stephen Nunn. Twitter users would see us live tweet his innings on Sunday against Division 1 heavyweights Wivenhoe. Hitting a half-century against Kelvedon the day before Stephen was in good form and powered to 100 against Wivenhoe. Usually peaking around the 100's everyone thought that will be it. All of a sudden boundary after boundary Steve raced to his debut 150!
A stark contrast to his brother's performance where he scored 1..
Steve selflessly middled one to cow corner after a sharp bouncer, to let the others bat and help steer the green to a competitive total! See his walk back here..
Well done to Steve! His day would've been complete after a weird nick behind to him was turned down..
To top off the weekend he has been nominated for performance of the week by the North Essex League so please if you have twitter vote for him here!
The Sunday firsts travel away next week against Clacton for an MP43 Grudge Match!
