Match report A great start to the ladies season with a win by 9 wickets over Colchester. Captain Cutter winning the toss put Colchester into bat, with some great fielding and Claire Bull doing a fine job when stepping into the WK shoes when Kate Knifton-Mead got called away on work commitments. Anna Pringle on her debut taking 2 wickets and Debbie Green only giving away 6 runs in her 3 overs. Minal Patel and Hannah F-J were the other wicket takers. With Colchester scoring 81 off 20 overs the Green went into bat.
Openers Rachel Watson and Mindy Irven steadily put the runs on the board, with Rachel retiring on 25 in came Libby Knifton-Mead. Mindy was caught on 17 and Hannah came to the crease, with a few 4's the game finished on 82-1 off of 12.2 overs.
