Eight Ash Green Cricket Club Lost by 4 wickets

Match report Once again Captain Cutter won the toss and put Colchester into bat. The Green fielded well with more run outs and a great stumping from WK Diane Pasfield. Colchester were a strong young side and batted well Hannah F-J taking 3 wickets and Anna pringle again taking 2. Colchester had 126 on the board and the chase was on.
Openers Rachel Watson and Pasfield scored steadily with Pasfield being caught, Minal Patel came in to steady the ship with 21 not out, was the best of the batting scores. Was great to see Libby Knifton-Mead also put some runs on the board too. The Green scored 76 in their 20 overs.
Mistley at home next Friday.. Hoping the Ladies will get back to winning ways. C'Mon the Green!!
