Invited to bat on a drying wicket, The Green made 175 in 35 overs thanks largely to a great 50 from Alex Hammond. Ipswich were ahead of the rate for much of their innings but catches win matches and every one was held to win by just 7 runs.

Man of the match was Mark Goodall who was the pick of the bowlers and took three catches - the first of which was a stunning one handed effort to dismiss the Ipswich top-scorer.
