Ollie Stovell notched up a maiden half-century and was one delivery away from carrying his bat when he lofted one just into the outstretched fingers of the fielder at mid-wicket. It was an excellent innings, one that he will be very proud of.

EAG strike bowlers Sam Pace and Matt Wadling were exceptionally good tonight, bowling with accuracy and venom - very impressive! Matt Parker and Charlie Lovejoy took up the baton and took two wickets each, the match finishing with a superb one-handed catch by Fergus Nightingale off the bowling of Elliot Cryne - yes, Elliot Cryne. Well done to all the boys for a terrific game of cricket.
