Chasing 104 to win, EAG opened confidently with James Parker hitting an assured 40 from 35 balls. The bowling was consistently full and straight, 5 batsmen misjudging it, to be clean bowled. Charlie Loveloy helped the cause with 20 runs. B'sea only had 9 players so there were gaps to exploit and with 10 overs played everything seemed on-track for a comfortable win. However, in the 14th over, three wickets fell in quick succession. Two overs later, Sam Pace pulled a short one down the leg side to seal a deserved victory.
