Eight Ash Green Cricket Club News story

Great news for the EAGCC Youth Section!!

12 Jun 2015

It has often been proposed that EAGCC Youth Section follows the example of other clubs and requires all players to buy a club shirt and club cap to build team spirit and look the part in matches.  This has now been agreed and from next season all players will be required to have both.

The bad news is the cost of complying with this requirement is £30 (shirt £18, cap £12).  The good news is this cost will be subsidised by the very generous sponsorship of parent Matt Blair’s company - Blackstone Contractors – and next season prices will be reduced by 25% to £13.50 and £9.00 respectively.   It gets better ...

To get things going NOW Matt has agreed to order enough kit  for EVERY current player to ensure teams this year look their best.  Furthermore, any player buying their kit before the end of June can buy it at a massive 50% discount.

This offer is open to all current players whether you have existing kit or not. This kit will be ordered Monday for delivery next week.  Any clothing not purchased will be kept by the club and sold at the lower discount next season.

I will estimate the numbers and sizes needed but it will really help if you can email me back to confirm whether you wish to buy at half price and if so what size your child wants.  Size details are on the club shop but please do NOT order through it for this offer.

Matt have not only agreed to transform the appearance of our teams but our dedicated coaching team too. They will not only get coaching tops but finance to buy £00’s worth of urgently needed coaching equipment.  This has already been ordered.

Please get back if unsure on any of the above.  Like me I’m sure you will want to express your thanks to Matt and his business for this incredibly generous support.  It will literally transform the cricketing experience for current and future players.  Thank you, Matt.
