Last week's trip to Boxted took your correspondent back to 1985 when he got his first and only ever century.  Older members might remember Bob Wailling's 'Fifties & Fives' slot in the Essex County Standard which, incredibly, I topped beating infinitely better batsmen than me.  Wickets and scores were a LOT lower in those days!

Sad too to see all the clubs which have since disappeared ... Colco, Grasshoppers, Paxmans, Marks Tey.  Shame really.  Rich P.
