Congratulations to Alex Johnson (15) for hitting his first ever hundred on Saturday. Against a good Frinton attack he batted with great maturity and some excellent timing to end on 108 not out. His innings including 16 x 4s and he was well supported by Ollie Stovell (41) with whom he put on 104 for the third wicket and Dom Purser, who hit a crisp 40. Despite losing to a strong Frinton side it was a great effort to restrict them to 17 points and to only lose 5 wickets. It's great to see the future of The Green in such safe hands.
