The final squad for The Tragic CC 1st XI has been announced today, live on Sky Sports News. There was huge surprise amongst the gathered press when Kevin "Second Balller" Smith was named as Skipper. A delighted Smith said "I know I don't really qualify but I did get a second baller at Kelvedon earlier this season and I just hope my team mates will accept me as Captain. I feel I`ve done enough this year to warrant my place among those unfit to wear the shirt and am looking forward to the challenge of a full bloodied game against PJs Bar International XI at the end of cricket week." The Tragic CC squad in full is

Kev Smith (Capt)
Ali Hammond
Jack Smith
Tom Lissimore
Charlie Lovejoy
Ollie Lovejoy
Mark Goodall
Jens Wair
Matt Parker
Matt Murray
Alex Johnson
Jonathan Purser

Smith continued "I would appreciate it if all of those players in my squad would let me know that they are definitely available within the next few days. It would be tragic if we didn't have 11!"
