Quiz Night Stewards Enquiry

12 Jun 2013

An anonymous member of Eight Ash Green has called for a Stewards Enquiry into the result of the Eight Ash Green Quiz Night held recently at the GP Pavilion. A strict review of the quiz rules clearly states that teams "shall have a maximum number of four players".  In a recent BBC documentary the same member, whose face was hidden to protect his identity, claimed "Look, I don't mind losing but having seen the photo on the club website of the winning team there are clearly six players claiming the prize. I have spoken to my team of solicitors in Ipswich but it was a joke.It was self evident that there was a massive conflict of interest as one of my legal team appears to have been in that winning team!".  Lord Welton of PJs Bar has been called in to review the case and is expected to report when he gets back from his holiday in the Scilies, though there remain doubts as to his neutrality since his stay may has been organised by Scilly Days, another conflict of interest surely!?
