Thanks to everyone who contributed to last week's survey.   Here’s a quick summary of results …

• Most people think it makes sense to securely share address details
• Everyone thought it will be good to use existing or new WhatsApp groups
• Nearly everyone thought players should offer to contribute to costs when car sharing
• Most thought the club might contribute too; only one against - maybe our treasurer!
• Nobody voted for penalising drivers who don’t car share
• Votes for free drinks for drivers was evenly spread, not a good message maybe?
• ‘Car Share Corner’ and End of Season awards were also evenly spread
• Moving from individual to team kit to save space was not popular
• Reaction to installing EV chargers was positive, but not excessively so

Three quick ways we can ACT NOW …

• Use existing WhatsApp group(s) to co-ordinate car sharing. We're setting these up now.  
• Encourage players to offer a ‘Driver Fiver’ to contribute to costs. Drivers are not obliged to accept.  Club sponsors have option to back up. 
• Set up a ‘Car Share Corner’ page. Anyone who shares a car and a pic is in line for weekly sponsored prize. This will vary from cash, drinks, kit, match tickets, etc. Not much competition now, much more when Youth section busy.

It's late in the season but every action helps.  We're putting all these in place now and will fine tune ready for next season.
