Yes, your weekly GreenPiece is back!  Now dedicated to supporting The Green’s drive to carbon net zero, every week we’ll update you with how we're getting on and what you can do to help. 

EAGCC already has estimated its carbon emissions for 2022, and you can find out what these are by going to our 3D Carbon Calculator.   To be on track for carbon net zero we have to reduce our emissions by 20% every year until 2030.  As you'll see from the pic, we have a LOT of work to do.    

The three things we currently measure are energy transport and food.  Transport is the biggest by a long way, and we need people to report back on numbers and types of cars going to each week’s matches.  A big thanks to Ollie Mewis who started the ball roiling with our first detailed Transport measurements for the 1st XI on Saturday.   If you can help please let your team manager or captain know.
