Last weekend saw two excellent wins for the Green.

On Friday, an all-round team effort took the Green Ladies to an impressive 147 v. Sudbury.  Everyone chipped in with wickets and Sudbury's eventual 71 meant an emphatic Green victory by 76 runs. The Ladies have their first home game this Friday from 6pm. The bar will be open and there will be BBQ food afterwards. 

On Saturday, the men's 1st XI faced a daunting target after Haverhill set us 245. In reply Keith Hammond and Deepak Rajpal set the foundation for a famous victory. Deepak was out for 73 but Keith was there at the end to see us over the finishing line with a marvellous 138 not out to his name (and a well-deserved beer afterwards!). Next up are Worlington at the Heath on Saturday. Bar open from 1pm, spectators welcome.

The 2nd XI found life tough against a strong Coggeshall side. Against a good bowling side we only managed 106 all out, which Coggeshall reached for the loss of only two wickets.
