This Sunday (September 12th), Tony Lee has organised a charity match at the Green to raise funds for FaNs (Friends and Neighbours), which exists to keep older people in Essex care homes connected to their local community. Lots of us will be there to play or spectate, so we thought it would make sense to hold our annual end of season awards event at the clubhouse after the game is finished (6pm ish).

All EAG players, ex-players, families and friends of the club are therefore warmly invited to join us at the Heath on Sunday afternoon. The bar will be open and there will be a BBQ after the game to raise money for FaNs. Afterwards we will hold a brief awards presentation to celebrate some of the successes of the season. You might want to bring your own chair.

Do come and join us to enjoy an afternoon of quality cricket, raise funds for a charity, and celebrate the continuing success of your club.
