Support the Green's green agenda!

03 May 2021

EAGCC is a pioneer when it comes to carbon neutral activity and supporting a green agenda. Our latest initiative, created by our new Carbon Champion Anna Collins, combines recycling, supporting youth teams and protecting the safety of players.

The initiative is simple and easy for everyone to support. If you have any old equipment (bats, pads, gloves etc.) or old cricket clothing, bring them up to the club and put them in the containers in the home dressing room. We will then make this equipment available for purchase by other players, for a nominal fee. All proceeds will go towards the club’s carbon off-setting costs. This is a great way to recycle your old kit while providing others with new kit so they don't need to share. Our first sale will be at youth training on Saturday 8th May.
