Promotion Double Still Possible!  Both Green Teams won again last Saturday to keep the dream of double promotion alive.  The 1s won comfortably against Elmstead but were frustrated not to get maximum points – read the report here.  The 2s did well to beat Earls Colne away and were happy with their 18 points.    Second XI match report here and well deserved MoM award to Jonathan Purser.

Seconds vs Witham – THIS SATURDAY.   EAG 2s are AT HOME against Witham 3s and need SIXTEEN POINTS from their last game to be sure of clinching the Div 9 South title.  Harwich have played all their games and both The Green and West Bergholt have one more to play.  Witham 3s are no-mugs, have won their last four games with big scores and this will be quite a battle.   MATCH STARTS AT 12.30 - AS MUCH HOME SUPPORT AS POSSIBLE PLEASE!   

Firsts vs Worlington – THIS SATURDAY.  The 1s make the long trek to North Suffolk knowing that a win will set up a thriller at home vs Tuddenham the following week.  Tuddenham sit this week out, so a win will take The Green into second place.  Worlington are again at the bottom of the table but you can never be sure of a second team’s strength.  GOOD LUCK BOYS!
