Our Kwik Cricket World Cup festival was played in bright sunshine and a calypso spirit with 8 'nations' taking part. In group A England beat Senegal (yes Senegal), Ireland and Sri Lanka to progress to the final. In group B Australia overcame India in a tight match to win the group with South Africa and West Indies battling hard.

A tense final between the auld enemies of England and Australia saw England sneak home by a dozen runs to win the trophy. Well played England.
