Alas the season approaches and thus GreenPiece returns, we hope you have had a good off-season and are raring to go for our Platinum Season! We have a lot to catch up on so this Piece is a bit longer!

Indoor Nets a Great Success

Indoor nets began near the end of March and we are pleased to announce what a great turnout we have had in both Senior, Junior and Woman's nets. Thanks to everyone involved, coaches and player alike! Senior nets concludes this Sunday due to the re-arranged fixtures.

The Weather Dampens the Start 

As you may have seen or can imagine the green is currently a bit soggy, the league have moved all fixtures from the 14th of April to the 15th of September. 

First Platinum Event Of the Season!

If you haven't noticed it is our 70th Anniversary we've gone Platinum! To celebrate we are having a launch party which has now been moved to the 5th of May so save the date!

New Equipment

We have ordered some new equipment for this season. We have new sight screens (no more excuses batsmen) and new covers to help protect the square and keep games going! A big thanks to the committee members for obtaining grants for these.

Cricket Week Confirmed!

Cricket Week is shaping up nicely for our 70th year. It will take place from Monday the 30th of July to the 5th of August. Save the date!

Youth Morning Returns!

After the huge success of last years open morning we are going to run it all over again! This will take place on the 29th of April 9am-11. All welcome especially new members!

GDPR Compliance

You may not have noticed but our website has undergone a large face-lift! Not only does it look better but it also allows us to to comply with data security, if you have any questions please do get in touch.

Other Platinum Events

We have plenty planned, with a Woman's Cricket Festival in the pipeline, we are helping out at the Village Music Festival and of course plenty of World Cup Football games and competitions to get your teeth stuck into!

Platinum Caps

We are currently designing some custom caps especially for the Platinum season so keep your eyes peeled!
