1's Struggle @ Stowmarket

The firsts couldn't get ahead of the pack on Saturday versus the 'Stow'. A lot of batsmen got in the double figures but failed to get going. If we had taken a few more bowlers it could have been a different story! The match report can be found on the website. We now take on Gt Bromley at home. Would be great to see some people up there to cheer on the boys! Especially as you will all hang around for the band night!

2's Cogs get Caught vs Coggeshall 

A jug avoidance from Ed Lambert Clarke wasn't enough to get the 2's a win. His 4 wicket haul making him the pick of the bowlers and Richard Polley top scoring with 36 could not steer the Green home as they lost by 49 runs. The 2's now go to Mersea for a beach holiday. Make sure you knock them over quickly to get back for the Band Night!

Woodnott's Whammies Versus Wivenhoe

A tough day at the office for the NECL 1's with Wivenhoe chasing down their 200 in classy style by their Aussie. The game made worthwhile with Tom Woodnott 'giving some' back to the 'hoe' while batting. Ultimately paying the price by getting blasted for 23 off of 7 balls.. Ollie Stovell got 46 so that's something isn't it..?
