1’s go top!
Kelvedon's Nunn the younger may have won the inter-family battle, but it was the Green's Nunn the elder who wore the broader smile as the home team swept to a 107 run victory versus Kelvedon on Saturday! Colchester Brewery Man of the Match went to Sam Pace who remarkably pitched the ball up and took 4 wickets for 4 runs! The team now travel to Needham Market - winning at home only by a few runs, this is set to be a good game and stride ahead for the title!
2nds Struggle versus locals Bergholt
A flowing 38 from Duncan Wyatt & 32 from Jonathon Purser was not enough to steer the Green to the target of 201 runs off 35. The Green just falling short on 143. The total could’ve been a lot higher if it weren’t for some tight bowling from Mr reliable Keith Steel. The 2’s now face Harwich 2’s at home this week, go along and cheer them on!
PIErates through to the final
