Eight Ash Green Cricket Club News story

Youth Awards 2016

25 Jul 2016

Eight Ash Green youth section completed their 2016 season with an awards day on Sunday. Following an inter-club match, the players gathered to hear an introduction by Club President and Colt of the Year 1973 Richard Parker, this was followed by speeches from match managers, Ian Wilde, Keith Sutton, Craig Axon and Sam Collins, who each recalled the season's highlights from their respective groups, Kwik Cricket, U11, U12 & U15.

Today capped an excellent season for the youth section, as a club we look forward many there today following current U15 colts Will Spicer, Callum McDonald and Troy Collins into the senior sides where they join many ex colts of previous years.

Thanks to sponsor Matt Blair, all parents who involved themselves in helping to stage and manage the games, coaches Luke Keeble, Stephen Nunn and Ed Lambert-Clarke. Special mention should go to Peter O'Donnell who unfortunately couldn't be at Sunday's event, for all his hard administrative work, not just this season, but also in seasons gone by.
