Match report A warm sunny evening greeted us all as we gathered for a game of cricket, something that was looking doubtful due to Covid-19. It was like everybody was coming out after hibernation. Families sat in their socially distanced groups and everyone was pleased to see each other and chat. Even though Coggeshall won the match with 6.4 overs to play we continued the match to the end of the 20 overs as it was a lovely evening and we were all pleased to be playing cricket.
Coggeshall won toss and elected to field.
Eight Ash Green batted steadily, but could never increase the pace of the innings, so finished on 98-5 from 20 overs.
Coggeshall scored quickly and won after 13.2 overs, by 9 wickets.
