Match report Kelvedon won the toss & elected to bat first. They batted steadily, each pair accumulating runs, losing the occasional wicket & finished their 16 overs with a net score of 72 for 4 wickets. Well done to Ollie Licence, Mark Liversidge, Nic Smith & Billy Sutton for getting wickets & to everyone for some good fielding. Most bowlers need to tighten up on their line as we gave away too many wides.
Our batting did not start well losing 2 wickets in the opening over. Wickets continued to fall throughout the innings & we did manage to score 46 runs but lost 12 wickets so finished on -14 net total. A lot of the wickets were bowled, boys simply not playing on the correct line or moving away from the stumps to play the ball. More practice needed!
