Match report First game of the season proved to be a comfortable victory over newly promoted Brightlingsea.Brightlingsea started well with their opening pair running particularly well between the wickets and putting the EAG fielders under pressure.However the capture of the wickets slowed the run rate although no further wickets were taken as Brightlingsea finished on 94-2.
Charlie Shepherds well struck 42 was the dominant feature of the EAG innings before Alex Johnson guided the home side to victory.
