Match report Not a great night for the Green. The long cold winter has taken its toll on the club's U13s. Halstead batted, bowled and fielded superbly well and the visitors had very little in reply.

Charlie Lovejoy, on his debut for EAG, proved to be a useful acquisition, returning figures of 3 overs, 1 maiden for 11 runs.

Dominic Rice batted well to reach 28 before being caught, but the accurate bowling and worsening gloom made batting very difficult.

There appears to be a lot of practicing to do.
