WELCOME!
EAGCC fields three senior sides – one on a Saturday and two on a Sunday.
The 1st XI plays on Sundays in the PDQ League Division 1. This year promises to be a good one with James Warner who is well knwon to the Grammar School, Sheffield University and Essex Police (is he alone in that?)
Our 2rd XI also play on Sundays in Division 4 of the PDQ League, Kevin Smith is the Captain and promises to play as good a game as he talks!
Our Saturday side is being run as an Academy XI to integrate our many promising youth players (with current Riff Raff!) and plays in Division 8 of the Two Counties League. With Richard Polley and Ali Maitland holding the captaincy as we try to get out of the increasingly tough division.

Key to our success is the systematic introduction of younger players from the youth section. We are also keen to recruit new players at 1st XI level and will be pleased to hear from anyone interested from home or overseas. Please contact us using the CONTACT link at top of page.
AVAILABILITY AND SELECTION POLICY
Can ALL players involves in playing for senior sides - including youth players who rotate in - please note AND ADHERE TO the below.
- Availability - via the web site - should be completed as soon as possible, it is the players' responsibility to update their availability on the website by the Monday before weekend games.
- Selection will be done on a Wednesday.
- The 1st and 2nd XIs will be selected before the Academy XI.
- Any changes to availability must be immediately reported to the selection chairman, either via the website or directly to me.
- Players are reminded that they are playing for EAGCC, not for an individual team.
- Players who drop out at short notice ie. a day before a game may not be considered for selection the following week.
- Players who have paid their annual subscriptions will take priority over those who haven't once June has commenced.

Each Friday when the Ladies side are away, weather permitting.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Senior subscriptions are £50
Students subs are £30. Subscriptions MUST be paid by end May.
MATCH FEES
All fixtures are £6 seniors / £3 youth.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Contact your team captain for information. Do not telephone until TWO hours before the due start of play.
MATCH DAY
All players are expected to turn up to matches at least ONE hour before they are due to start.
