Match report The 3rd friendly of the season was played in glorious sunshine at EAG. It was agreed to play a 20/20 fixture as Coggeshall play in the 11 a side league. As we only had 8 players we used 3 of their players for fielding to make up the numbers. Coggeshall won the toss & decided to bat first.
We took 3 wickets in the first 5 overs but S.Dove & J.Raine batted very well to get Coggeshall up to 136 for 3 after their 20 overs. Ben & Harry Cannell & Christian Martin got wickets, however all 6 bowlers used did well as did Finley Mir as wicket keeper.
EAG batted through the 20 overs against some very good U11 bowling, especially Jack Axon & Finley Mir at the end of the innings.
Well done to all players, next match is on Sunday July 6.
