At first it was looking good with Eight Ash Green containing Nacton to 38-2 from 16 overs, with Ethan Wyatt opening spell of 6-2-6-1. But when Nacton captain Corey Stockwell came in at number 5 the runs started to flow. Culminating in a final over bowled by Jens Wair which went for 31 runs, with Jack Lord hitting 4 sixes in a row, finishing on 80 not out and Nacton finished with 251-8 from 45 overs.

Eight Ash Green started badly and were 34-4 and never recovered. A ninth wicket stand of 66 runs between James Plummer and Matt Parker ensured we got 3 batting points. James Plummer topped scored with 36, but we were bowled out with 8 balls remaining to lose by 89 runs. Nacton's Jack Lord had done the damage with the bat earlier and now took 5-27, with his bowling.
